The reason the Department of State Services, DSS, failed to present the Biafra agitator in court, according to Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The failure of the Federal Government to produce Nnamdi Kanu in court, according to Ejimakor, was due to a lack of solid and reliable evidence.

According to sources monitored by iexclusivenews on DAILY POST in response to an inquiry about the motive behind DSS’ reluctance to prosecute Kanu,

According to the Nigerian government, the DSS was unable to deliver the IPOB leader due to logistical issues.

In light of this, the trial judge, Justice Binta Nyako, has postponed the case until October 2021.

However, according to Ejimakor, the Nigerian government did not change Kanu’s charges.

“They presented no reasonable excuse for Kanu’s absence from court, other than it is in their discretion,” he stated. The judge, however, disagreed, stating that “trial can never begin without the defendant being present.”

“They must also give Kanu’s lawyers access to him twice a week, according to the judge.

The hearing has been rescheduled until October 21.

In light of the court’s holiday, the judge stated that if any matter relating to the case arises during the vacation, he will address it.

We should bring it to her notice so that she can ask the Chief Judge for permission to allow us a hearing unless we don’t mind the vacation judge hearing us.

“The charges were not changed, contrary to expectations.”

When asked if Kanu’s disappearance was a ruse to keep him locked up permanently, Ejimakor responded, “If it is, it won’t succeed.” The government, in my opinion, lacks adequate and compelling evidence.”

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the activist was detained after staging a protest in support of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, who is currently facing charges.

The ‘Buhari-Must-Go’ activist, on the other hand, rushed to social media a few hours after their arrest to report that he and others had been released.

“They just released us,” he said. We were dragged, harassed, and beaten by them. They escorted us to the Police Station of the Federal Secretariat. I informed them they didn’t have the authority to detain me.

“I have the right to watch Nnamdi Kanu’s trial. They snatched our cards and erased all of our recordings.”

BREAKING: Lawyers Denied Entry into Abuja Court for Kanu’s Trial

Some lawyers were denied entry to the Federal High Court in Abuja, where Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), will stand trial on Monday.

One of the lawyers denounced the move in a live BBC Pidgin video watched by iexclusivenews, claiming it was an open court to which every Nigerian lawyer should have free access.

“A lawyer doesn’t have to present his ID card or anything to prove he’s a lawyer,” he explained. “It’s a free-for-all. It’s like when you go to your Wuse market shop and someone asks, ‘Can I see proof that you own the shop before I let you in?’

Tunde Bakare: No More Visits To Aso Rock, It’s War Now

Tunde Bakare, the senior pastor of Citadel Global Community Church, has declared war on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, stating that he will no longer pay him visits.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the angry preacher did not mention President Muhammadu Buhari by name in his current rant, but Pastor Bakare previously stated that he visited Mr. Buhari to counsel him on national matters, but that the president frequently ignored his advice.

PastorBakare, who earlier claimed God informed him Buhari was going to stabilize Nigeria, said he was now ready for war and no longer interested in meeting with Mr. Buhari at a church service on Sunday.

“I’m no longer interested in meeting you; no more visits.” Now it’s war because Nigeria must be set free,” Pastor  Bakare declared, addressing Mr. Buhari.

“I challenge you to come after me because that is the current style,” he added. It’s possible you’ve done it to others. If you touch me, you’re about to learn a lesson.”

“If you know what I’ve been up to behind my back, tell me. If you can, I dare you to chase me down. I collaborated with you, worked for you, and helped you get there (where you are). I now have a stinky mouth when I speak.”

The clergyman emphasized that calls for independence were motivated by injustice and inequity.

“We must recognize that the unrest is the result of a lack of fairness and equity. Pastor Bakare believes that when there is justice and equality, unrest would subside.

“How can you devote so much time and effort to Igboho and Kanu? Nigeria’s issues are not Igboho and Kanu. No one can prevent Nigeria from restructuring.”

Mr. Buhari’s media assistant, Femi Adesina, accused religious leaders of preaching hate and spreading falsehoods about Mr. Buhari’s administration in April.

Two foreigners were detained by the State Security Service DSS while staying at Treasure Suites, a hotel located across from the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, for photographing the court from their hotel balcony.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that SSS operatives drove away in a white Toyota Hilux vehicle with the foreigners, who were Caucasian and presumed to be Americans by police officials on the site.

At the scene, a police officer told Peoples Gazette, “They even entered the hotel and requested the management to show them their CCTV video so they could find one of the males and take his phone.”

Outside the hotel, a lady thought to be the manager was seen appealing with SSS police not to force the foreigners out. Her cries went unheard.

Another police official informed The Gazette that the Americans would merely be questioned and requested to erase the film, rather than being tortured.

“They won’t do anything to them; they’ll just ask them to write statements and erase the film they took,” the officer added on the condition of anonymity in order to avoid being punished for making public comments.

Only a small group of pro-government media outlets will be allowed access to the court, according to one of the SSS officers stationed at the court’s entrance.

While The Gazette and other media outlets deemed critical of the Buhari administration will be barred.

“No matter what you do, you will not be allowed to attend this courtroom today,” the officer stated. He refused to provide his name.

The SSS’s spokesman did not respond to The Gazette’s requests for comment on the arrests.

Ten media outlets were allegedly accredited to cover today’s proceedings in Mr Kanu’s trial, according to a disputed list published on Sunday night.

The Gazette was not included on the list and did not ask to be.

All media organizations in Nigeria are allowed to cover court hearings under Nigerian law.

The case of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, who was controversially seized by Nigerian operatives and brought to Nigeria from Kenya on June 29 has been delayed till today.

The court has been tightly secured by SSS officials as part of an aggressive attempt to prevent attorneys, journalists, and other court observers access to the premises for the session.

Two key highways leading to the federal courthouse were blocked down by the cops.

After Mr. Kanu’s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, urged followers of the separatist leader to appear at the trial without fear, the measures became more severe.

“It is critical to emphasize that anyone who desires to attend is not breaking the law if they do so peacefully.

Mr. Ejimakor stated, “Kanu’s trial is an open trial, not a secret trial, and he is deemed innocent unless proven guilty.”

Three Israeli filmmakers were detained by the DSS while making a documentary in Igbo-dominated Eastern Nigeria two weeks ago, accusing them of supporting Mr. Kanu and IPOB.

The foreigners are still being held captive.

This was mentioned by Angel on Sunday night while providing a quick introduction to her housemates.

She became despondent, she claims, after her first lover died in 2019.

Angel, did not, however, reveal the circumstances behind his demise.

“My ever the first lover died in 2019, and it had a toll on my mental health,” the 21-year-old stated. I began self-harming.

“One of the reasons I got myself here is because of my search for a place in the world.

“His death affected me, and I was melancholy for a while, but I’m grateful to be alive.

“Coming to Big Brother taught me that life isn’t a slog and gave me hope.”

She did clarify, though, that she is now single and eager to be in a relationship.
