Bola Tinubu Returns To Nigeria Ahead Of Inauguration
Bola Tinubu, President-elect has returned to Nigeria ahead of May 29th inauguration
iexclusivenews reports that Mr Tinubu’s return was confirmed by his Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga.
He was received at the Abuja international airport by the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima and some state governors.
Tweeting about his arrival, Onanuga wrote: “Jagaban lands in Abuja, Vice President elect Kashim Shettima and governors at the airport reception for President elect Tinubu.”
The president-elect had jetted out of Nigeria to France on March 21, a trip his campaign council said was meant for him to take a rest and plan ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
A statement by the APC presidential campaign council had in March noted that Tinubu travelled to France to rest and plan his transition programme after a very exhaustive campaign and election season.
However, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that this put to rest weeks of speculations regarding his health status and whereabouts.
