BREAKING: Gbajabiamila, Fayemi,10 Other Governors Meet With Buhari In Daura

On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari hosted Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as well as ten state governors and other politicians.

Gbajabiamila and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were said to have met with President Muhammadu Buhari in the morning at his Daura country estate on Kongolam Road in Daura.

Despite the fact that the Speaker and his entourage were in Daura to pay Sallah respect to the President, sources told Iexclusive News Nigeria that political matters were at the forefront of the closed-door meeting.

Meanwhile, the governors’ meeting with the President began just before 4 p.m. and lasted more than an hour.

Although the governors’ aides said the governors were in Daura to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir with Buhari, insiders said the closed-door meeting also discussed topics of national importance.

Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), Aminu Masari (Katsina), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Abubakar Bello (Niger), Abubakar Ganduje (Kano), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Benedict Ayade (Cross Rivers), David Umahi (Ebonyi), and Muhammed Yahaya (Gombe) were among the governors in attendance.
