BREAKING: Ike Ekweremadu Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison

Ike Ekweremadu was given a sentence of almost ten years in prison by a British court for trafficking in human organs.

iexclusivenews reports that While Obinna Obeta, a doctor, received a 10-year sentence for the same offense, his wife Beatrice received a four-year, six-month sentence.

British journalist Chris Summers shared the news via his Twitter handle Friday afternoon.

They were sentenced at London’s Central Criminal Court, Old Bailey under the Modern Slavery Act.

The trio were in March convicted for trafficking a young Nigerian, David Ukpo, to the United Kingdom, for the purpose of harvesting his kidney for Sonia Ekweremadu, the daughter of the top Nigerian senator.
