BREAKING: INEC Declares Soludo Winner Of Anambra Governorship Election
Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was proclaimed the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Obi announced the outcome after combining the data obtained by each political party in the Tuesday additional polls with those already announced on Sunday from the state’s 20 LGAs.
She delivered the following results for the political parties: APC 43,285, APGA 112, 229, and PDP 53,807 votes.
She also stated that the total number of legitimate votes in the election was 241,523, rejected votes were 8,108, and the total number of votes cast in the election was 249,631.

“This is the moment we’ve been waiting for,” Obi added. I’d want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to INEC’s chairman and his team for providing me and my university with the opportunity to participate in Anambra 2021. I thank the service chiefs, as well as the people of Anambra State, for their continued support.
“Please allow me to read this EC8E form that I have completed. I, Prof Florence Banku Obi, officially attest that I am the returning officer for the governorship election in Anambra that took place on November 6 and 9. Prof. Obi stated, “That Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the APGA is hereby declared the winner of the election, having certified the requirement of the law.”
Senator Victor Umeh, the former chairman of the APGA, said the election was transparent and the best ever held in the state in his reaction to the victory.
“Despite the fact that certain people boasted that they would win the state, we have once again won the state.”
“This is to inform them that the APGA is on the ground, and that it is not only about bragging about your victories, but also about completing your study correctly. I implore them to accept our party’s and candidate’s victory because the people have spoken.”
