The People’s Republic of China said on Thursday that its loans to Nigeria are mutually beneficial.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Cui Jianchun, China’s ambassador to Nigeria, talked to the media at the University of Abuja at a lecture titled “Learning from the Chinese Communist Party’s History and Creating a Brighter Future.”

According to Jianchun, Nigeria and China have a long history of friendliness and bilateral connections.

The ambassador expressed sorrow that certain superpowers were portraying China’s objectives negatively.

“Some politicians have attempted to exploit the colonial system thinking to say that if I lend you money and you do not repay me, you would lose your sovereignty,”.

According to the official, China is collaborating with Nigeria on rail since money is now a major restriction, just as it was in 1978 when his nation was bankrupt.

“We didn’t have money, we didn’t have the technology, and we didn’t know how to run the economy in China.”

Jianchun remembered that the Communist Party of China (CPC) had just over 50 members when it was established.

In a country of 1.4 billion people, the ruling party now boasts more than 95 million members, making it the world’s largest governing party.
