Constitution Review: Aisha Buhari, Others Arrive Senate

Aisha Buhari, Nigeria’s first lady, paid a visit to the Senate on Wednesday to observe proceedings.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that her entourage included Dame Pauline Tallen, Minister of Women Affairs, and Mrs Zainab Ahmed, Minister of Finance.

When the first lady arrived, the Senate suspended the order at 12:01 p.m. to allow her and her entourage to enter the Senate chambers.

She was in the Senate to witness the laying of the report of the Constitution Review Committee, which was led by Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
