COVID-19: Lagos Tops With Over 1000 Cases As Infections Rises
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed an increase in COVID-19 cases on a daily basis in 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that according to an update posted on the health agency’s verified Facebook page on Thursday morning, approximately 1,355 cases and one death were reported on Wednesday.
Lagos State, the virus’s epicenter in Nigeria, had 1,036 cases, followed by Nasarawa, which had 92.
The new case brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 240,374, with 3,028 deaths, and approximately 213,491 recovering from the disease.
