After returning to Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo breaks his silence and sends a farewell letter to Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo has written an emotional farewell letter to Juventus fans following his departure from the club on Friday to rejoin Manchester United.
The 36-year-old described the Bianconeri as “the most important club in Italy” and “one of the most important clubs in Europe.”
Ronaldo, on the other hand, stated that they did not reach all of their goals at Juventus, despite having fond memories together.
The Portuguese international joined the Serie A giants from Real Madrid in a £100 million transfer in 2018..
“Today, I leave an incredible club, the largest in Italy and undoubtedly one of the largest in Europe.
“I devoted my heart and soul to Juventus, and I will always love Turin till the end of my days.
“The “tiffosi bianconeri” have always admired me, and I have tried to repay their admiration by fighting for them in every game, season, and competition.
“At the end of the day, we can all look back and see that we accomplished tremendous things, not all of which we desired, but we still wrote a pretty beautiful story together,” he wrote.
