FG Blame Elite For Fueling Secessionist Movement 

According to the FG, those calling for Nigeria’s disintegration are supported by the country’s elites.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information, speaking during a meeting with the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN).

Praised the organization for organizing the national unity campaign, which is set to take place in October.

He called the move “patriotic” and said the administration was willing to work with the organizers. 

“We must fight the temptation of those very selfish elite who are creating the idea that Nigerians do not want to remain as a nation,” he stated.

Mohammed warned Nigerians not to let anarchists put a gap between them in an attempt to destabilize the country.

He acknowledged the issues in security and the economy and stated that the government is working hard to address them.
