Governor Akeredolu Of Ondo State Takes Medical Leave, Hands Over to Deputy

ONDO, (iexclusivenews) – Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State will embark on a medical leave on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, to continue his treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

He has transferred power to his deputy, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who will act as the governor in his absence.

Aiyedatiwa, who was sworn in as the deputy governor on February 24, 2021, is a former commissioner for oil and gas and a loyal ally of Akeredolu.
