Gunmen Attack Couple, Kidnap Husband On Airport Road Abuja

iexclusivenews – Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, is facing a surge of insecurity as kidnappers target unsuspecting residents. One of the latest victims is Abdullahi Sabo, who was abducted by armed men while driving home with his wife.

How The Incident Happened

According to eyewitnesses, Sabo was driving his ash-colored Lexus Jeep with the plate number ABC 769 TP on Sabon-Lugbe, Airport road, when he was ambushed by the gunmen.

They were driving a Golf car without a license plate and they shot at Sabo’s tyres, forcing him to stop.

Sabo’s wife managed to escape from the car and ran for safety, but the kidnappers seized Sabo and drove away with him.

More Kidnappings In Abuja

This incident comes barely two days after another kidnapping incident in Army Estate, Kurudu, in Abuja.

Some gunmen invaded the estate and abducted some residents, including a pregnant woman and a 12-year-old boy.

The kidnappings have raised concerns among Abuja residents, who have called on the authorities to beef up security and curb the menace of banditry and terrorism in the city.
