Gunmen Attack Joint Operation Checkpoint At Amodu In Enugu – Reports

Gunmen has attacked the joint operation checkpoint at Amodu in Nkanuwest Enugu State

iexclusivenews reports that there was an attack on a Joint Operation checkpoint at Amodu community on Amodu Road in Nkanu West Local Government Area on Tuesday 27th September 2022 at about 0800hrs.

The hoodlums stormed the checkpoint in two Lexus Jeeps and one Toyota Sienna and reportedly opened fire at the combined team of Police and military which subsequently led to a gun duel that lasted for some minutes.

Amid the attack, the operatives neutralized some of the hoodlums while most of them escaped the scene of the incident with fatal gunshot injuries.
