How Gunmen kidnapped Sunday Igboho’s wife, others
Chief Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation activist, has had his wife kidnapped by gunmen who invaded his house on Thursday morning.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Professor Banji Akintoye, the leader of Yoruba self-determination groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, revealed this in a statement titled.
‘Yoruba Nation: Elements of the Nigerian Army invaded Sunday Ighoho’s residence in Akintoye, accompanied by international terrorists hired by the Nigerian State.’
Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, Akintoye’s Communications Manager, made the message available to journalists.
“The perpetrators were all dressed in military uniform and spoke fluent French,” according to the statement.
“The gunmen killed seven of the building’s residents and took Igboho’s wife and numerous others.”
This comes less than 72 hours before the planned big rally in Lagos State, which will be attended by Akintoye and Igboho, according to iexclusive News Nigeria.
Igboho’s Soka Ibadan apartment has been stormed by unidentified attackers.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Ayo, was unable to receive calls, therefore details of the incident are still unclear.
