How Petrol Tanker Exploded In Ibadan

iexclusive News Nigeria reports how a fuel-laden tanker exploded Friday at the Iyaganku area of Ibadan, Oyo State

The tanker fell close to a petrol station, causing panic among road users and residents of the area before it eventually exploded.

The Oyo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Uche Chukwura, has confirmed the incident.

He said, “A tanker fell this afternoon and it eventually caught fire. Our men are there to control the traffic.”

Roads leading to the scene of the explosion have been cordoned off causing gridlock along the Dugbe, Ring Road, and Iyaganku areas.
