How Pregnant Woman Was Killed, Husband Kidnapped In Kwara 

In Offa town, Offa local government area of Kwara State, news of  a pregnant woman killed and her husband who was also abducted  by gunmen who are suspected to be kidnappers. 

The couples names are Hauwa and Lukman Ibrahim .

Ibrahim, also known as “LUKTECH,” is a phone and accessory trader in Offa’s famed Owode market, according to reports.

Iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26th, while Lukman was driving his father-in-law, pregnant wife, and one of their children home along Ojoku road, which is very close to the Divisional Police Headquarters.

According to eyewitness accounts, the widow died on the scene after being shot at close range, and her body was later buried according to Islamic customs after being transferred to the mortuary of Offa General Hospital.

According to a close family source who provided additional details about the incident, the deceased ran a pharmacist business in Oshunte, Offa, on Ibrahim Taiwo Road.

“The kidnapped husband was driving the family home when seven gunmen presumed to be Fulanis assaulted them very close to the Divisional Police headquarters, less than two minutes drive, along Ojoku road, and shot the wife before whisking the husband away,” the source informed Tribune.

Okasanmi Ajayi, a spokesperson for the State Police Command, verified the occurrence and stated that efforts are being made to rescue the abducted victim.
