Kwankwaso Picks Bishop Idahosa As Running Mate

Kwankwaso has picked a popular Nigerian Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate for the 2023 election.

iexclusivenews reports that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), which is running for president in the Nigeria 2023 election, announced on Thursday, July 14, 2022, that Bishop Isaac Idahosa will serve as Rabiu Kwankwaso’s running mate.

This online news outlet understands that the party made the announcement on the official Twitter page of its campaign organization on Thursday where it wrote, “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.”

iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that Kwankwaso’s choice comes after he failed to get the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi to be his running mate.

Peter Obi’s refusal to be Kwankwaso’s running mate also ended the two political parties’ alliance talks as they had announced earlier that they were in talks on reaching an alliance ahead of the 2023 elections.
