According to a guy, his cousin was apprehended and unjustly accused of being one of the IPOB/ESN members who reportedly masterminded the attacks on the Omuma and Njaba police stations last week.

Elvis Okafor, Gideon Dominics’ cousin, allegedly returned from church and left home shortly after to buy food for his sick mother, but he never returned.

He was later identified as one of the suspects in an attack on police stations in Imo state.

While parading the suspects, the police said the men stormed the police stations on two different occasions.

During the gunfight, a Divisional Police Officer was murdered, and one of the suspects, Emmanuel Nnaji ‘M,’ a native of Awala in Imo State’s Ideato South LGA, was apprehended with bullet wounds.

According to a statement released on August 2 by CSP Michael Abattam, the state police command’s spokesperson.

“The arrested suspect gave a vivid description of a Hotel located in Orlu as were they, the bandits stayed, planned before they executed their dastardly act on the police stations,”
