BREAKING: National Grid Is Restored

The national grid is restored shortly after another grid collapse that plunged Nigeria into darkness earlier today, Wednesday, the 11th of December.

This online news media recall that the grid experienced multiple collapses in October, with the Federal Government promising a permanent solution to the ongoing issue.

A post on the official account of Nigeria’s national grid on X revealed earlier today that the collapse occurred at about 1:32 pm on Wednesday.

“The major grid setback has occurred, and the restoration is to commence,” it reads.

After a few hours, the grid has finally been restored.
