New Naira Notes: Kano Bank Clients Complain About Cash Shortage

New Naira Notes- Bank clients in Kano State are still suffering from cash shortages as a result of the naira redesign strategy.

Customers at banks around Sharada who talked with this reporter expressed disappointment that neither the new nor old notes were accessible.

Clients who got access to the banking halls were told there was no cash but were led to the ATM terminal, which was not dispensing cash.

In another bank on the Kano-Zaria route, a client said he was fortunate to take N5,000 from the banking hall, which was the maximum amount a customer could withdraw.

Nonetheless, several consumers were observed queuing at ATMs to check whether they might acquire cash.
