Nigeria Protests: Wike Calls for Dialogue, Commends Nonviolence

(iexclusivenews) – Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has once again extended an invitation to those protesting against President Bola Tinubu’s administration to engage in dialogue.

Wike emphasized the government’s readiness to listen and address any governance issues that protesters might not be aware of.

Commendation for Nonviolent Nigeria Protests

Speaking on Thursday during the presentation of staff of office to four newly appointed chiefs in the territory, Wike commended the protesters in the FCT for maintaining a nonviolent stance.

He urged them to continue resisting any attempts to incite violence and disrupt the nation’s peace.

Wike highlighted the significance of Abuja as the nation’s capital, describing it as a precious asset to Nigeria.

He warned that any destruction in the FCT would have severe repercussions for the entire country, underscoring the need for peaceful and constructive dialogue.
