1. President Muhammadu Buhari reacted to the report of the panel set up by the Lagos State government to investigate police brutality yesterday. 5. Some gun-wielding thugs have attacked the weekly meeting of factional members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osogbo, Osun State capital. Members of the APC loyal to Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, known as The Osun Progressives, TOP, were holding their weekly meeting at the Oranmiyan House along Osogbo-Gbongan road when the gunmen attacked them.

6. Ondo State police detectives have arrested Festus James, a prophet, for allegedly rapping an eight-month-old pregnant woman at Agbabu village via Ore, in the Odigbo council area of Ondo State.
