iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Ejiofor in a tweet headlined “Update on F.R.N. vs Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”

“We have just received confirmation from the Federal High Court Abuja, that the Hearing on Our Client’s case above referred would still take place as previously scheduled on Monday next week, the 26th Day of July 2021,” he tweeted.

“Please keep Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the entire Legal team in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all, and God bless. @ EjioforBar”

Kanu was apprehended again a few weeks ago in an African country thought to be Kenya.

Kanu was deported to Nigeria to face his retrial following his rearrest.

The IPOB leader is on trial before the Abuja Federal High Court, presided over by Justice Binta Nyako, on treasonous allegations.

Upon his return to Nigeria, however, the IPOB leader was hauled before Justice Nyako, who remanded him in the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS, and adjourned his case.
