Nnamdi Kanu Finally Meet His Family, As DSS Bows To Pressure
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, was given contact to his family by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that at the DSS headquarters in Abuja, Kanu met with his brother, Emmanuel Kanu, who was accompanied by his legal team.
Kanu’s principal attorney, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confirmed the encounter in a series of tweets.
The IPOB commander, according to Ejiofor, is in high spirits.
“We just finished today’s normal appointment on a very sound note,” Ejiofor said. Today’s visit was special since it was the first time our client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, had seen his younger brother.
“During the Family’s first visit to Our Client, I was working in my firm. The Representative of Our Client’s family is Prince Emmanuel Kanu (Fine Boy).
“Our client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is a very powerful spirit. “Prince Emmanuel Kanu will tell you the rest.”
Kanu has been detained by the DSS after being re-arrested and returned from an unnamed African nation.
The secret police had failed to present him during Kanu’s previous court appearance before Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.
