Obi Cubana To Sponsor Lagos Hawker To University
Obi Cubana, a well-known businessman, has offered Ekuma Jeremiah, a Lagos hawker seen in a viral video giving money to inmates on a Nigerian Correctional Service bus in Ajah, Lagos State, a university scholarship and employment in any of his companies.
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that this was revealed by the socialite Obi Cubana during an Instagram live with media personality Daddy Freeze.
“I am offering him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, he has to go to school, I believe that is his ambition,” he said.
“I will see him through university, and if he wants to do Masters abroad, I will make sure he is comfortable while attending school because, as I previously stated, that is the best we can do for him.”
“He will do University, whatever he wants, and then by God’s grace I know I will still be standing by the time he is done with school, he has a place in any of my organizations at the top level, and if by God’s grace he finds a higher calling, you see there is nothing tied to this, I do not expect anything in return,” Cubana continued.
“I’m not putting any conditions on this, but if he refuses to return to school, we can now hear what he wants to do and then see him through.”
“The most important thing is to know that he has a mentor, a life guide in me.” I will make it easier for him through God, and I am confident that God will provide me with health and strength.
“The guy will attend any university of his choice in good standing, not just to pay school fees.” He has a pure heart. This is the type of person we require.
“I pray that people will do eye service to get my attention; let them do this kind of thing because you never know when you get used to it and the world will become a better place.”
Daddy Freeze announced the gesture to Jeremiah in another live Instagram broadcast.
“I want to thank God for everything; he is God and God alone,” Jeremiah said. Only God has the ability to do so. If I wake up every morning, I always pray to God, as I have always done to myself, and I will continue to thank him. God is the only one who has brought me this far. “May his name be exalted, and I praise his name.”
