PDP National Convention: Ortom Leads 117 Delegates To Vote For Candidates

 

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has led the state’s 117 delegates to the PDP’s 2021 Special Elective National Convention in Eagle Square, Abuja.

 

Senator Iyorchia Ayu, Consensus National Chairmanship Candidate; Senator David Mark, former Senate President; Engineer Benson Abounu, Benue State Deputy Governor; Senators Gabriel Suswam, Orker Jev, and Abba Moro; and other delegates also voted.

 

A total of 3,511 National Convention credentialed delegates will be called to vote.

 

Delegates from Abia and Adamawa states were the first to be summoned. The state of Abia has 116 delegates, while Adamawa has 118.

According to Alhaji Umaru Fintiri, Chairman of the Convention’s Central Planning Committee and Governor of Adamawa State, the PDP has 3,701 delegates, of whom 3,511 have been accredited.
