Peter Obi Shuts Down Abia State As Aba Traders Close Shops To Welcome Him 

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) Presidential candidate received a raucous welcome on Friday in Aba, the Eastern commercial hub of Abia State. 

iexclusivenews reports that business owners closed their shops to welcome the man they believe will make the best president of Nigeria..

Obi was accompanied by Alex Otti, the LP governorship candidate for Abia State.

Both walked through the city, with shop owners and offices closing as people followed the former Anambra State Governor through the business heartland.

Our correspondent reports that traders, motorists, and pedestrians caught sight of the LP duo of Obi and Otti.

With their entourage and began following them on the popular Asa Road near the Aba main motor park.

Peter Obi is expected to hold a Town Hall Meeting with the Aba Business Community at the Aba Sports Club during his visit to the state.

Meanwhile, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that as of the time of filing this report, the meeting was still going on.

The Labour Party Presidential candidate is also expected to pay a courtesy visit to the Abia State Traditional Rulers Council.

At the State Council Headquarters in Umuahia before holding a general Town Hall Meeting with all Abians at the International Conference Center Umuahia.
