Portable Granted Bail By a Magistrate Court 

Portable, a popular “Zazoo Zeh” crooner, real name Habeeb Okikiola, has been granted bail by a Magistrate Court, sitting in Ifo, Ogun State.

iexclusivenews reports that the Ogun State Police Command arraigned the hip hop singer Portable on a three-count charge bothering on assault and theft of musical equipment.

Portable, the controversial singer was granted bail of N300,000, with two sureties from his immediate family by the presiding magistrate of the court

The Magistrate said Portable should fulfill the bail condition before leaving the court premises.

iexclusivenews Nigeria reported that Portable was on Friday arrested by police operatives after he turned down a series of invitations extended to him.

The musician’s problems started last week when he posted an Instagram live video in which he claimed that police officers stormed his bar in Sango Ota at the request of an online fraudster (Yahoo Boy).

Portable was invited to the Ogun State Police Command’s office after the video , which has since gone viral and generated some online outrage.

However, iexclusivenews reports that the singer refused to show up after the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the police to turn himself in.

Apart from resisting arrest and hurting a police officer, the singer has more than six charges to deal with, according to Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi on Saturday.

The Zazoo Zeh Crooner argued that his arrest was “unwarranted,” adding that he makes his money “legitimately.”

Portable, 29, also referred to himself as “a federal government liability”.
