According to witnesses at the site of a fatal shooting at a cookie shop in Memphis, the victim was rapper Young Dolph. The revelation was corroborated by local news network FOX13, which cited sources.

The incident occurred at Makeda’s Butter Cookies, 2370 Airways Boulevard, and Memphis Police were on the scene.
Officers are on the scene of a shooting at 2370 Airways. One male victim was located and was pronounced dead. No suspect info is available at this time.

Young Dolph strolled into the store to buy cookies, according to the shop owner, who told FOX13 his staff. Then someone came up behind him and fired and killed him.’

Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr. was the real name of young Dolph. He was 36 years old at the time.
