RCCG Pastor Denies Allegations of Sex With Teenagers
Suspended RCCG Pastor Ayorinde AdeBello Denies Allegations of Having Sex with Male Teenagers
iexclusivenews – In an official statement, AdeBello asserted that he “never engaged in sodomy with male teenagers,” claiming his previous silence had been misinterpreted as a sign of guilt.
According to an official memo from the RCCG’s national overseer, Pastor Sunday Akande, the church has initiated a thorough investigation into the allegations against AdeBello and another pastor.
The memo emphasizes that the RCCG strictly upholds biblical teachings, which, it stated, do not permit any form of homosexuality.
In his response, RCCG Pastor AdeBello explained that the discussion in question, which went viral on social media, focused on issues of male reproductive health and self-esteem within a teenage WhatsApp group.
He insisted that his comments were taken out of context and misconstrued to portray him as someone who has sex with male teenagers.
“I have NEVER demanded for sex from any male as payment or gratification in order to give them assistance, platforms or positions,” AdeBello wrote in his statement. “God is the only King Maker, the only One who can raise and erase kings, give positions and platforms.”

The RCCG pastor further clarified that the teenagers in the group were taught about the right hygiene for reproductive health, the right kind of underwear to buy, and that the girth and length determines the underwear size.
He also explained that he aimed to reassure the teenagers that their sizes should not affect their self-esteem, as they are “perfectly and uniquely created by God.”
AdeBello expressed his disappointment at seeing the screenshot message from the WhatsApp conversation “mischievously quoted out of context to portray [him] as someone who has sex with male teenagers.”
The RCCG’s decision to suspend AdeBello and the other pastor has sparked a wave of discussions within the Redeem Christian community, with some expressing support for the church’s stance on upholding biblical principles, while others have called for a fair and impartial investigation into the allegations.
As the RCCG Church continues its investigation, the suspended pastor maintains his innocence, asserting that he has “NEVER had sex with (*) or proposed sex to him for any reason.” The outcome of the investigation will be closely watched, as it could have significant implications for the RCCG and the individuals involved.
