Strike Continues As Organised Labour Awaits Tuesday Meeting Outcome
ABUJA, (iexclusivenews) – The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has clarified that the ongoing nationwide strike will continue until Tuesday’s meeting of union organs, where resolutions from Monday’s meeting with the government will be reviewed.
After a six-hour meeting, the government signed an agreement with Organised Labour, promising a national minimum wage above N60,000.
The Tripartite Committee will convene daily for a week to finalize the amount.
