Sunday Igboho: I’m Not Afraid Of Anybody, Benin Should Return Me To Nigeria

Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba Nation activist, has voiced optimism in achieving freedom if he is repatriated to Nigeria by the Benin Republic

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Igboho stated he doesn’t mind being detained like Nnamdi Kanu in leaked tape obtained by The PUNCH and confirmed by various sources.

He said that he was abandoned by lawyers in Benin who had taken a large sum of money from him.

“It’s because of the situation I found myself in,” the campaigner explained.

Nobody will be able to stop me if I am motivated to complete a task.

They were obliged to change the detention facility where I was held after I insisted that it be moved. I’ve accepted my fate.

I’m not afraid of anyone anymore. I am prepared to go before the judge. He no longer frightens me. He is free to do whatever he wants.

“They should go ahead and return me to Nigeria if they want to. There is a God present. Nnamdi Kanu is likewise detained in Nigeria, and we are fighting for the same cause. I don’t mind if I’m also deported to Nigeria. I’m all set.

“I’ve been here nearly two months, and the lawyers haven’t shown enough concern. In Nigeria, I have senior lawyers who look up to me. In Ibadan, I have 42 lawyers defending me, and they keep winning.”

Igboho is currently detained in the Republic of Benin, while four of his aides are held by the Department of State Services.
