Sunday Igboho Rushed To Hospital, See Why

Sunday Igboho‘s lawyer has stated that the Yoruba agitator was brought to a hospital in Benin Republic today.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that this comes after he was said to have been diagnosed with a renal or lung problem in Benin Republic.

This online news outlet gathered that one of Igboho’s lawyers, Yomi Aliyu, told BBC Yoruba about the agitator’s developing condition, claiming that the rights activist contracted the ailment while incarcerated in the Benin Republic.

The agitator, who is gravely ill, was brought to the hospital, according to Aliyu.

The lawyer expressed concern that Igboho needed urgent medical attention.

“Igboho was not diagnosed with this illness when he was arrested in Cotonou,” he claims. They had to rush him to the hospital because the situation was so urgent.

“I’m not sure if he’s been released from the hospital, but what I do know is that he’s in poor health, and it appears like his kidneys and lungs are already failing.”

“I know the ailment has something to do with his internal organs, even though I can’t see which portion of his body it has harmed.”

The incident was confirmed by sources in Ilana Omo Oodua, the umbrella body of Yoruba self-determination parties.

“Yes, he’s sick, and his kidney appears to be damaged.” We are still undecided. For confirmation, another test result is expected. One of the insiders stated, “We’re working on it, and I can guarantee you that he’s in good hands.”

When approached, Ilana Oodua’s representative, Maxwell Adeleye, replied, “Expect our response shortly.” The government, on the other hand, should be reminded that nothing should happen to Igboho.”
