‘Sustainable Energy Supply To Be Expected By Lagosians’
Lagos state government is working hard to make sure Lagosians will henceforth enjoy Power always.
This was made known to all, that Lagosians in the nearest future should expect sustainable power supply on a daily basis.
Iexclusivenews reports that Lagos State Electricity Board (LSEB) on Tuesday made this fact, were they renewed its commitment to transform Lagos state electricity landscape and make it an envy of the country.
The media parley which was held on Tuesday, where the General Manager, Mukhtaar Tijani spoke. He said the increasing power demand in Lagos State, due to expanded civilisation and increase in population, led to concern over the limited energy resources which has been there focused and had always been looked into.
Informing the publics that focus of the government is on sustainable power supply for the city which enbles optimised use of energy to minimise pollution, thereby reducing health challenges.
Emphasising that the governor Sanwo-Olu lead government focus and concern for getting sustainable power right in Lagos state is Paramount.
“The approach to achieving the 2030 target on Sustainable Development Goal 7, which emphasises affordable and clean energy in the state, has been captured in the developmental agenda of the current administration.
The making of state a 21st century economy entails enhancing the facilitating access to clean energy technology, including renewable energy, as well as advanced and cleaner fossil-fuel for the state,” Tijani, an engineer, said as he rounded off.
