‘T.B. Joshua Is With The Lord, We Shall Meet Again,’ Pastor Adeboye says.
Iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has broken his silence by writing a sympathy letter to Evelyn, wife of late Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).
The letter was dated June 15, 2021, and it was not made public until it was leaked.
Pastor Adeboye had long been an adversary of Joshua’s, and he had previously stated that he would not preach in Joshua’s church unless the prophet would allow him to preach a salvation message to him, requiring him to be born again before he could minister in his church.
With the exception of a handful, many senior Christian leaders did not sympathize with Joshua.
In a letter to Evelyn Joshua, Adeboye stated he joined millions of people around the world in expressing the church’s condolences on the death of her husband.
On the morning of the resurrection, he claimed he expected to see Joshua at the feet of the Lord Jesus.
The full text of the letter is as follows:
“Calvary greetings in Jesus name. We want to join millions of people across the globe to register our condolence with you on the passing of your husband, Pastor T.B. Joshua.
“We take solace in the Lord, believing that we shall meet again at the feet of the Lord Jesus on the resurrection morning.
“We therefore, pray for you, your children and the entire church that, the Lord will uphold all of you and such untimely death shall cease in our midst in Jesus mighty name,
Be assured of our continuous prayers. Yours in Him. Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer.”
