Tiwa Savage Gives Iyabo Ojo N500,000 For Mother 1year Burial Party
Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, has given N500,000 to Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo as she prepares for her mother’s memorial service.
Iyabo Ojo moved to Instagram to share a screenshot of the credit alert, expressing her gratitude for the singer’s inclusion in the caption.
She said, “Awwwwww, my brown chocolate. Our very own African Queen @tiwasavage, God bless you loads. I am so overwhelmed, honestly. Thank you once again. Love you loads. #womensupportingwomen. #vof21.” (sic)
The actress has used the hashtag #vof21 to mark her mother’s memory celebration, implying that Tiwa Savage’s gift was intended for the occasion.
The term VOF stands for Victoria Olubunmi Fetuga, Ojo’s mother’s name.
Ojo claimed that she received two cows from her friends on Friday, in addition to the financial gift from Tiwa Savage.
The actress thanked the donors for sponsoring her mother’s remembering party by posting a photo of the cows on her verified Instagram profile.
She also mentioned that one of her followers presented her with cartons of various high-end beverages and wine.
Fetuga, Iyabo Ojo’s mother, passed on on November 21, 2020 at the age of 69.
The actress, therefore, is hosting fellow celebrities at an event next month to mark one year anniversary of her mother’s passing.
