1. Doctors in Ondo State Tuesday, embarked on an indefinite strike after rejecting plans by the State Government to pay 50 percent salary. According to a statement, the industrial action became necessary after an emergency meeting by the doctors under the auspices of Ondo Government Doctors Forum, OGDF.

2. The Federal Government has extended the National Identity Number, NIN, registration deadline by 8 weeks. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Pantami made this known on Tuesday during the meeting of the Ministerial Task Force on NIN-SIM registration.

7. The Kaduna State Government yesterday, confirmed the death of three persons in separate attacks by suspected bandits in Lere and Birnin Gwari Local Government Areas of the state. Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, made this known in a statement in Kaduna.

8. The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 National Incident Manager, Mukhtar Muhammed, in a video posted on Twitter on Monday said the federal government may be forced to close schools down again, as COVID-19 cases continue to spike.

9. About 15 students of the Osun State School of Nursing and Midwifery, Osogbo have tested positive for COVID-19. The development compelled the management of the school to order for a compulsory COVID-19 test for all students.
