The location is strongly secured by armed officials from the Lagos police headquarters and the military, according to The Gazette.

Men, ladies, and youths dressed in secessionist regalia, banners, and placards continued to scream pro-secession mantras unafraid of the presence of security officers.

“Yoruba Nation, right now!

We can no longer stand by as our farmlands are invaded and our daughters are raped. “There will be no going back,” a female protester told The Gazette at the scene.

“There is no turning back for the Oduduwa Nation.”

“Igboho-Osha!!!” Another protester yelled.
