Atiku, Shehu Sani react to Burna boy, Wizkid first Grammy awards

Atiku described Wizkid as an epitome of talent that could be found in Nigeria.

In a tweet, Atiku wrote: “Congrats @BurnaBoy! #Grammys

“I am delighted and proud as a Nigerian at Wizkid’s Grammy win. Wizkid is an epitome of the talent that abounds in Nigeria. Congrats @wizkidayo.”

On his part, former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani pointed out the significance of Nigerians winning the Grammy awards.

Sani said the victory by Wizkid and Burna boy was an indication that Africa had come of age.

“Congratulations to @burnaboy and @wizkidayo for the #GRAMMYs; Africa has come of age #grammys2021!,” he tweeted.

This online news medium recall that Burna boy won the award for the Best Global Music Album ‘Twice as Tall’.
