During her cross-examination of Princess, Ogala revealed that Okele, Princess’s security guard, and Princess’s neighbor, Mr. Damola Adekola, assaulted the 14-year-old juvenile.

When Princess was asked who Adekola was, she identified him as a neighbor who she also considered a brother.

In response to the police detention of Adekola in April.

“He was arrested because I reported him to the police after he attempted to sexually harass my daughter in December 2020,” Princess said in court.

“He didn’t molest her; he tormented her. He put his hand on her lap and told her to put her hands on his penis; she refused, and she yelled.

“When I discovered out, I informed the authorities. Around 9.30 p.m., something occurred in my home. My sister was with them at a conference in Sabo, Yaba, and I required her attention there.

“I told them to go to bed, and when it got to 9.30 p.m., I told him (Adekola) to keep an eye on them to make sure they weren’t still watching cartoons past their bedtime.

“She informed me what happened on the 20th or 21st of April [after Baba Ijesha’s arrest].” That was the sole instance of attempted molestation in my home.

“The other time I sent her to his place, he tried to take her, and she screamed and fled upstairs. This happened towards the end of December 2020, and I learned about it in the police station as well.”
