Man, 64, Arrested For Raping 2-Year-Old Girl In Ogun 

A 64-year-old man, Ayotunde Taiwo, was detained by police in Ogun State for reportedly rapping a 2-year-old girl (name withheld) at Agbado in the state’s Ifo Local Government Area.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the culprit was apprehended after the victim’s mother filed a report with the Agbado divisional police headquarters on Tuesday.

The mother informed the cops that she had observed her daughter was having trouble walking and chose to get her body checked.

This online news outlet understand that the woman claims she observed blood spilling out of her private parts throughout the process.

She further told the cops that when the poor girl was questioned, she just pointed in the opposite direction to the residence.

“The suspect was met washing his blood-stained boxer, indicating that he just had unlawful carnal knowledge of the little girl,” the mother said when she arrived at the house.

Following the report, the Divisional Police Officer at Agbado, Kehinde Kuranga, dispatched his detectives to the site, where the suspect was swiftly detained at his home, located at No 11, Efon Alaaye street, Adiyan, Agbado, according to the police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi.

The person, he claimed, had been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

According to Oyeyemi, the Commissioner of Police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, ordered the suspect’s immediate transfer to the Ota Police Area Command’s Family Support Unit for further investigation and prosecution.
