IPOB: How Ohanaeze, Politicians Betrayed Igbo Youths

Security agents in the Southeast have been warned by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to stop “genocidal killings” of Igbo youths after labeling them as ESN operatives.

iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that IPOB claims that security agents have killed several Igbo youths as a result of political leaders’ and Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s quest for “political glory.”

IPOB accused Ohanaeze and Igbo political leaders of betraying the Southeast in a statement issued by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, on Monday.

“Following the incessant kidnappings, harassment, arrests, and indiscriminate killings of Biafrans in recent times,” Powerful writes.

We, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by our liberator and tireless leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, desire to remind Fulani-dominated Nigerian security forces operating in Biafra land to stop killing innocent Biafran youngsters they label ESN agents and IPOB volunteers.

“In Biafra territory, several innocent Biafrans, particularly our youths, have died at the hands of these thoughtless and tainted Nigeria security officers.

All because our political leaders and Ohaneze Ndigbo betrayed us in front of the Fulani-controlled federal government in their pursuit for personal political gain.

“Police commissioners in Imo and Ebonyi states must cease posing as ESN and IPOB volunteers and killing innocent youngsters from the two states because we are not hunting for any of them.

Since the ESN outfit was formed on December 12 last year, police and army have only been able to assassinate Ikonso because his village people set him up out of jealously and jealousy; no other members of the outfit have been killed.

“As a result, we are advising those responsible for this barbarism to leave our land and consign its protection to IPOB volunteers and the ESN security outfit.

Our patriotic volunteers are unafraid of Fulani invaders and are always ready to defend our people.

“Once again, we strongly condemn security services’ continuous detention of youths in Biafra land under the guise of IPOB and ESN commanders. In Imo and Ebonyi states, no ESN operatives or IPOB volunteers were apprehended. To gain plaudits from naive Nigerians, the police must stop spreading misleading information to the public.”
