Following his loss to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night, Anthony Joshua was transported to the hospital for evaluation.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, admitted that he couldn’t see well after the ninth round.

‘AJ’ had a black and swollen eye by the 10th round, as Usyk continued to beat him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Ukrainian almost knocked him down in the final seconds, but won via unanimous decision 117-112, 116-112 and 115-113.

“He’ll be admitted to the hospital. I’m not sure if he’s damaged his eye socket, but it doesn’t appear to be in good shape.

“After the ninth round, he complained he couldn’t see, and he was definitely getting tagged a lot.

Hearn later claimed, “His power appeared to have left him, the tank was empty, and it was only his heart that kept him on his feet in the 12th round.”s.
