BREAKING: 2 Professors, Other Abducted Uni-Abuja Staff Rescued

Two professors and other members of the University of Abuja‘s staff who were kidnapped recently have been released.

iexclusive News Nigeria recalls that Monday, some bandits stormed the university’s staff quarters and whisked some professors and staffs away to an unknown destination.

A day after their kidnapping, the kidnappers contacted the victims’ families and demanded N300 million as a condition for their release.

However, DSP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Federal Capital Territory Command, confirmed their release to DAILY POST on Friday morning.

According to her, the development resulted from the command’s efforts in a joint operation with other security agencies.

She stated that some suspects connected to the crime had been apprehended by security personnel.

However, as of press time, the PPRO was unable to provide specifics about the development.
