BREAKING: Bandits Storm Kaduna Airport, Stop Aircraft From Taking Off

Bandits has stormed Kaduna airport on Saturday and stopped an aircraft from taking off.

The plane was scheduled for Lagos on Saturday when the hoodlums stormed the runway, forcing airline officials and passengers to flee for their lives.

The gunmen also shot and killed a member of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

Even while information on the killing of the airport staff is still scarce.

It has been learned that one of the robbers shot the deceased as he walked around the runway.

The plane that was supposed to take off at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday was reportedly unable to do so due to the presence of bandits near the airport’s runway.

“As I speak to you now, there is already a military presence to boost up security, albeit most of the personnel is terrified following the assassination of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) staff,” the insider informed TRIBUNE.

More than ten military trucks have been dispatched to the airport as of the time of filing this report to enhance the security network surrounding the airport.
