This is to let you know that you may now check your results online if you took the May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). A total of 1,607, 985 students from 20,221 schools across the nation and in three countries took the school test.

According to Mrs. Moyosoal Adesina, on Monday at the organization’s Yaba headquarters, the Head of National Office (HNO), Mr. Patrick Areghan, announced the publication of the May/June 2022 WASSCE results.

In May 2022, Areghan said that out of 1.6 million applicants, 800,055 were men, making up 49.76% of the total, and 800,724 were females, making up 50.4%. (50.24 percent).

In 76 disciplines, a total of 197 papers made up of 76 papers were examined. A total of 30,000 senior teachers who were nominated by different ministries of education took part in the exam as supervisors.

How To Check Your WAEC Results Online

To obtain your result, you don’t need to buy any scratch cards or pins. Candidates must verify their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number on the Smart Identity Card used to administer the exam.

1. Go to the WAEC 2022 result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org.
2. Enter your WAEC Examination Number into the required column.
3. Select your examination year, i.e., 2022.
4. Select your examination type, i.e., school candidate result.
5. Enter the card’s serial number.
6. Enter the card PIN.
7. Finally, click the “Submit” button to get your 2022 WAEC result.
