Union Bank has been acknowledged as a Model Champion for Gender Equality

Access Bank, a major retailer, has introduced the fifth season of its Womenpreneur Pitch-a-Ton campaign.

In line with Access Bank’s mission to be the bank of choice for women in the markets and communities it serves, the W Initiative aims to inspire, connect, and empower women.

Under the Womenpreneur Pitch-a-Ton programme, the Bank’s mission is to provide female entrepreneurs with the financial and business skills they need to succeed.

The initiative is made to give female-owned businesses in Africa the chance to get access to funding, top-notch business training, and mentoring opportunities.

Abiodun Olubitan, Group Head W Initiative, stated in a statement to journalists that this initiative has been created to establish an environment that will enable female entrepreneurs to build their enterprises.

The ‘W’ Initiative, which supports the women’s economy, especially in the areas of financing, capacity building, and establishing networking opportunities for women, is driven in large part by Access Bank’s history as an advocate for women’s economic empowerment in Africa.
