How Buhari Killed My Family and Tried to Kill Me - Igboho

iexclusivenews – Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, is a prominent activist for the Yoruba nation, a movement that seeks self-determination for the Yoruba people of Nigeria.

In a recent visit to the palace of the traditional ruler of Igboho town in Oyo State, he made shocking allegations against former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He claimed that Buhari was responsible for the deaths of his mother and sibling and that he also tried to assassinate him.

Buhari’s Assassination Attempt on Igboho

According to Igboho, who spoke in Yoruba, Buhari ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) and the military to attack his house in Ibadan and kill him.

He said this was because he spoke out against the oppression and violence of the Fulani herdsmen, who have been accused of terrorizing farmers and communities in the South-West region of Nigeria.

He said he escaped the raid by the grace of God and his own authority, not by human power.

Igboho’s Arrest and Release in Benin Republic

Igboho also recounted his ordeal in Benin Republic, where he was arrested on July 19, 2021, along with his wife, Ropo, as they were trying to travel to Germany.

He spent more than two years in detention, facing extradition charges from the Nigerian government.

He was finally released in October 2023, after a long legal battle and international pressure.

He thanked his supporters and lawyers for their efforts to secure his freedom.

Igboho’s Return to Nigeria for His Mother’s Burial

Igboho returned to Nigeria on Thursday, ahead of his mother’s burial in Saki, Oyo State. He said he came back to pay his last respects to his mother, who he said was killed by Buhari.

He also accused Buhari of killing his sibling and friend and cursed him and his children to die mysteriously.

He warned the Yoruba people to be careful of Buhari, who he said was a Fulani and an enemy of the Yoruba nation.

He urged the Yoruba people to unite and fight for their freedom from the Fulani domination.
