Ukraine launches NFT Museum To Support Army And Civilians

Ukraine has launched a nonfungible token (NFT) museum to keep the memory of war and use the proceeds to support the army and civilians

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched an online nonfungible token museum. To preserve the timeline of key events, beginning with Russia’s invasion of the nation.

Ukraine’s minister of digital transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, stated in a Friday tweet. That the government began a project with the nonfungible token, or NFT, artwork showing major occasions from the Ukrainian perspective on Feb. 24.

The NFTs begin at 5:45 a.m. local time on the conflict’s first day when Russia announced a “special military operation” in Ukraine’s Donbas region.

54 NFTs representing crucial moments in the war between February 24 and February 26. Will be available starting March 30th, according to the NFT museum website at the time of publication.

According to iexclusivenews, the earnings from the Ether (ETH) sales will be utilized “to fund the troops and people.”

The artwork depicts a wide range of events and sources. Including tweets from government officials. Photographs from news organizations, and international leaders’ responses “supported by personal remarks.”

“While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech,” said Fedorov. “[The NFT museum is] the place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom.”

The NFT museum boldly states:

“We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history.”

The NFT effort appears to be aimed at Russian state media in addition to soliciting donations for Ukraine’s military.
