Anambra Gov. Soludo Places N10M Bounty On Okoye And Chiegboka Killers

Anambra Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has offered N10 million to anyone who can lead to the arrest of those who assassinated and beheaded state House of Assembly members Okechukwu Okoye and Cyril Chiegboka, the director of his campaign organization.

Condemning the gruesome murder and beheadings.

“The Governor has consequently placed an N10 million reward for anyone or group that will avail valuable information that will lead to the immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act.”

According to Christian Aburime, Mr. Soludo’s Chief Press Secretary. The governor was devastated by the news of the murders and his condolences to his Isuofia kin.

“It is probably the same criminal gang that attacked him and killed three policemen at Isuofia two years ago that are once again on the prowl.”

On Saturday, the heads of Mr. Okoye and Chiegboka were recovered near Chisco park junction in Amichi, Nnewi South LGA.

Mr. Okoye represented Aguata II Constituency in the state assembly, hailing from Isuofia in Aguata LGA, the same village as the governor.

On May 15, he and Mr. Chiegboka were kidnapped by unidentified individuals.

Mr. Soludo assured citizens that his administration will soon make criminal groups uncomfortable in Anambra.

 “Anambra will win against the forces of darkness,” and urged the people to “brace up for the all-out war against the criminals.”
